Peace & Justice Meeting
Tues. 17 July 2007
1. DVD / tickets / popcorn. The event was successful. We got several suggestions. The DVD subcommittee has met and produced the following schedule:
• September 23, 2007: Boys of Baraka - First Presbyterian Church
• October 14, 2007: Over the Hedge - Central Christian Church
• November 11, 2007: Philadelphia - 1st Pres
• January 20, 2008: In the Heat of the Night - Central CC
• February 10, 2008: Paths of Glory - 1st Pres
• March 9, 2008: Grapes of Wrath - Central CC
• April 13, 2008: Paper Clips - 1st Pres
• May 11, 2008: Rabbit Proof Fence - Central CC
2. We discussed our next education forum. We set the date: 16 Sept. at 4:00 p.m. The forum will consist of Alida Graham, Jan Mandernach, and John Dunn. Robert was also going to invite a friend who was a local superintendent.
3. Our next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on 21 Aug. 2007. |
