Central Illinois Organizing Project PayDay Lending Regional Action
CIOP is planning a regional action on PayDay Lending at Nelson Park in Decatur on Saturday, April 21st at 11:00AM . The action will address issues related to this growing industry right here in our community. CIOP is a faith-based organizing group seeking to eliminate economic injustice in Central Illinois. Currently Central Christian Church, St. Peter's AME Church and the local chapter of the NAACP are members of CIOP. Watch for more information soon
